A day at the land

I was talking to Paw Paw the other day about how much Tori is going to love playing outside this summer. We started talking about swings and he decided to make Tori a new swing. I'm thinking a little rubber or plastic bucket seat swing...oh no...she now has a beautiful cedar swing. It turned out amazing! I know she will spend tons of time outside this summer! Thanks Paw Paw!

We also fed the turkeys today. Yes, she is that close to the turkey!
She thought it was so funny when the corn would come out of the feeder!

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day! Paw Paw and Mae Mae came over for dinner on Tuesday. Mae Mae made Tori a new bracelet and gave her a few prissy things...one being a pillow that she carries around that says 'It's all about me'. That about sums it up.
Today we went to Grammy's house. She also gave her some prissy things...Ariel sunglasses, purse, phone, and more. Then, Valentine's Day wouldn't be complete without her playing with her friend Luke!
Bryan and I are going out to dinner to celebrate Valentine's Day while Jessie and David babysit Tori. Thanks!

Stomach Bug

There is not much to report on this week. Tori and I have been in the house for 6 days. She caught the stomach bug. She spent her days in our laps or on our hip. She didn't want to play, eat, walk, talk, nothing. She is finally feeling better the last couple of days.

This was Tori on the day she got sick.
This was a couple of weeks ago...no I didn't let her play with other kids while she was sick. This is Macy and Luke. Macy can't get enough hugs when she is around Tori. Luke and Tori are friends and like to kiss in church...young love!
This was a few weeks ago. She loved this chair when she was a baby and discovered she loves it again. Jenny took it with her camera so I just got a copy and had to post our 'little baby'.

Ask Paw Paw and you shall receive...

I decided Tori needed a bookshelf. I keep her books all over the house and in her closet. I started looking a couple of months ago, but never found anything I loved. I finally found a dollhouse/bookshelf on the internet for $650 and decided to ask Paw Paw if he would make it when he had time to work on another project. For those of you who know my dad, know that he is always working on something. Well, I asked and he delivered...literally. Within one week Tori had a new dollhouse/bookshelf delivered to our door. I love how it turned out. I know that for now Tori will have fun pulling all the books off the shelf and eventually we will turn it into a dollhouse.

Here is a picture of the one on the internet.

I think she likes it!!
I am the worst person at decorating shelves. I will have to get some help, but this is what they look like for now.
She decided she needed to help paint when she wasn't cleaning the floors with the paint brush.
Paw Paw hard at work!
He even put in windows with glass and added the fence for the finishing touches. THANKS PAW PAW!! WE WILL CHERISH IT FOREVER!!

Play Day with Emery and Merrill

Earlier this week we went to see our cousins Elizabeth, Emery, and Merrill. Merrill slept almost the entire time while Emery and Tori had tea, played in Emery's kitchen, watched Little Mermaid, jumped on the bed, and ate lunch.
