Brunch for Brady

I had a shower this weekend at Amanda's house. It was so good to see everyone together again!
Thanks for Julie, Amanda, and Holly for helping!

Brady's room

I've been busy this week sewing and getting Brady's room ready. I finished the bumper pad and curtains (thanks Amanda and Holly). I just need some boyish accessories to put in the room and we will be ready for Brady! My sister made these letters and I love them. I just need her now to come help me hang them:)

Reed has a new heart!!

Reed got a new heart yesterday! It was definitely an answer to so many prayers! Keeley is keeping her blog updated, so feel free to read the latest...

So, my dad has taken on another hobby...welding. Him and mom surprised me at Christmas with this piece to hang above my bed. I picked one out in a store and really wanted it, but little did I know he would learn how to make it himself. I am so pleased with how it turned out. He has already started his second project which is a huge bridge for their house. He wants it for the wedding, so I think it will be a great place to take pictures. I still need to take a picture of the bridge, too.
I owe a big thanks to both our parents (and Jessie) for helping us move all three rooms of furniture. I am so grateful we have family that lives so close! We are getting everything ready!

Big girl bed

Tori is officially in a big girl bed. She has done great! I was very nervous about the transition because she is such a good sleeper. She has not attempted to get out. I do have a large bed rail so that helps!
I do know that all the princesses in this bed is a bit much, but whatever works. She does have a normal comforter (without princesses). We are in process of changing rooms and furniture to get ready for Brady. We should be done in the next couple of days. Only 6 weeks left!

Happy New Year

Well, I can't believe it's 2009. Don't we say where has the year gone every year?!? We had a great 2008 and we are looking forward to 2009. It's hard to believe Brady will be here in 7 weeks. I am trying to get ready for his arrival. We are about to switch Tori to a big girl bed. She is such a good sleeper. She has only slept with us in a 'big girl bed' a handful of times, so we'll see how it goes. I am in process of buying and making bedding and curtains for both kids (don't worry...mainly buying). We are about to have a moving party since we are switching three rooms in our house...fun, fun, fun!
Jessie knitted this dress for Tori...we love it! Tori does, too. She said told Jessie thank you for her new dress several times today.
I am not big into pictures of myself right now, but I thought I at least needed a couple before Brady comes. I am 32 weeks. This one has flown by!

This was New Years Eve. We went to Newt and Casey's house. None of us made it until midnight, though.

Tori wore this hat for a couple of days last week. I have a hard time getting her to wear a big jacket, so I was more than happy to let her wear the hat as much as she wanted.
