Week of Birthdays

Happy Birthday to a wonderful husband and dad!!



We set up Tori's exersaucer this week and attempted rice cereal. Let's just say she likes the exersaucer much better!

We finally got to meet sweet baby Libby this week. She and Tori both weighed the same when they were born. It's hard to believe she was that little 4 months ago.

This week we celebrated me and Bryan's birthdays. Earlier this week I was surprised with a birthday lunch at Puffy Muffin, then went to get a massage (thanks to my husband) and a pedicure thanks to Amanda. Today is Bryan's birthday, so we started the day off at Noshville for breakfast. We got a video camera for our birthday, so I hope Tori is ready to be on film a lot.

Disney World

We had another magical trip this year! Tori enjoyed her first trip. She did great on the plane ride down and on the ride home. We rode in the car for 12 hours and Tori did not cry one time. We have a very laid back baby. We went to the parks one day...we hit all 4 in one day. The one ride we thought Tori would enjoy...Small World...she cried the whole time. You definitely do not realize how loud places are until you have a baby. We shopped, rode bikes, strolled, ate, played games, and just relaxed. We did not get our picture...that's right...our picture with any characters this year. I was way more disappointed than she was. We did take our picture with Pooh in honor of her Aunt Audra.

Outside fun!

We are loving this weather. We've been playing outside more getting ready for Disney! She loves riding the golf cart with her Paw Paw and walking around with me in the Baby Biorn. Those are great! Can someone tell me how to post a video clip?

Great Grandparents

Grandma made everyone new aprons!

4 generations of love!

We have all been anxiously waiting for my grandparents to come to town. It was a week full of wonderful memories! This is the first time that Tori got to meet her other great Grandma and Papaw. They could not be here when Tori was born, but they are the first people I called to let them know they had a new great grandbaby!

My grandparents hold a special place in my heart. They are both amazing Christian examples for me and my family. They always put others first and I have never heard them say negative things about anyone else. Grandma said to me this week that my Papaw would give the shirt off his back if someone needed it. They are both such loving people and would do anything for anyone. I have so many memories with my grandparents...playing Old Maid and my grandma letting me win, walks in the garden, swinging in the tire swing, swimming in the trash can (that's right...trash can), Thanksgiving at deer camp, hunting with Papaw, Christmas breaks, shopping, laughing, being part of the clean plate club, knitting lessons, golf cart rides to look at the Christmas lights, sewing lessons, and I am looking forward to many, many more! I love you both!

I just got a sewing machine, so Grandma gave me sewing lessons. We made an outfit and a dress for Tori.
