Disney World

We made it home safe from yet another trip to Disney. It took me 25 years before I could go to Disney World, but Tori has already gone 3 times and she is not even 2. I think each trip is more and more fun to see how she is going to react to everything. She loved meeting the characters. She walked up to at least 10 of them and acted like it was just the two of them. Her favorite character now is Minnie Mouse. She was hugging her for so long I had to go pull her off. I wish I had them on video rather than just pictures because she acted so serious and then as soon as she walked away her face lit up and she started shaking with excitement!

We ate so much...when I say that I truly mean it. We went to 5 all you can eat restaurants. Needless to say I am starting 'to show' now.

Her favorite ride was Dumbo. She still asks me to ride it.
She also loved riding the 'horsies'.

She thought she was something at the pool. Emma Cate gave her an Ariel bathing suit and Tink bathing suit.

I see some golf days with Daddy in her future!

Mrs. Hunt gave her some new sunglasses. She asked to wear them all weekend and when she wasn't wearing them, they were on top of her head...just like everyone else.
Tori loves her Aunt Jessie. There were many times when she only wanted Jessie to carry her. Tori climbed up on the rock with Jessie and looked at me then said cheese. I guess she is used to me taking pictures by now.

First Day of School

Tori had her first day of school this morning! We've been talking to her about it for a week now. She was very proud to walk in carrying her new school bags (bag and lunch bag). I walked her into school and left without any tears...from either of us. Her teachers said she did great and Tori says she wants to go back, so that's a good sign!

We've had a busy, but fun week. We went to Aunt Nenny's first baby shower, celebrated Julie's birthday, spent a day at my parent's house, went to meet the teacher day for Tori, and celebrated Emma Cate's birthday.

This was her favorite toy in the room. She thought is was so funny.
She also loved for Daddy to pick her up. She kept saying 'want to touch apples' (that were hanging from the ceiling).
What kid does not love bubble time. These are her new teachers...Mrs. Janda and Mrs. Joanna!
Happy Birthday, Princess Emma Cate. She turns 3 today!

20 months!

We've had a great week or two. My friends Jaren and Greg came to town for the weekend. I finally got to meet Ellie! We had a dinner with the girls and kids on Friday night!

Tori is now 20 1/2 months. She has become much more active, repeats anything and everything you say, talks in sentences, and loves to climb on everything.

We went to my parent's house for the day yesterday. Tori cannot get enough of the turkeys.

They are not bothered by her running around with them.
Until she decides to chase them off.
We took a break for watermelon.
Then the turkeys were back!
Time to feed them again!
She loves to wear our shoes around the house.
Audra picked her up the other day and this is how her dress ended up. She did not want me to fix it!

TORI IS A...

BIG SISTER!

We are expecting our second the first week of March. We are so excited! They will be 27 months apart. Everything is going great. I am not as sick as I was with Tori.

I think it will be good practice for her to be around Jenny and Keeley's babies first...maybe that will make for an easier transition!

Keeley is having 2 boys. She will definitely have her hands full with 2 busy boys!

Jenny is having 2 girls. I am really shocked about the 2 girls. I always thought Jenny would have boys. We are excited about the many tea parties in the future.

Happy 4th!

Happy 4th of July! We had a great day at the Church's. We went to Mimi and Pops' house with all of Bryan's family, my family, and Jeff's family. It was a big crowd. We went swimming, ate, and played the Wii all day. Tori played hard until around 3:00 when she couldn't keep her eyes open any longer.
